Friends of Rockcliffe
The Friends of Rockcliffe are a group of ordinary parents and staff from Rockcliffe C of E School, who get together to do extraordinary things.
The principle aim of the Friends of Rockcliffe is to raise money to buy the extras that the school budget does not support, which in turn benefits our children, within their education and their overall happiness at school, and make lasting amazing memories and friendships.
This year we will be working with both the School Council and Governing Body to plan and develop the exterior surroundings of the school as our major goal. We will also be supporting the school to enhance the curriculum with specialist workshops such as the Life Bus and planned multi-cultural events.
We run a range of events, eg Race Night, Bingo Nights, disco's for children, raffles etc, all in an effort to make money for 'Friends of Rockcliffe'. We have a committee and members also attend committee meetings, but behind all of this is you! By visiting this page, or attending an event you are a 'friend'.
To make each event a success, we need as much support from as many people as possible. The more people who are involved, the less there is for each individual to do.
We know that meetings might be difficult to attend, but volunteering to hand out leaflets, man stalls etc, is equally important.
Can you help with Friends of Rockcliffe??
We are looking to expand our Committee - if you can help then please contact the school. Thank you.
