Mental Health and Wellbeing

Mental Health Lead

We believe in promoting positive mental health and emotional wellbeing for all.

The World Health Organisation defines mental health as a state of wellbeing in which every individual achieves their potential, copes with the normal stresses of life, works productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to their community. Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social wellbeing. It affects how we think, feel and act.

Positive mental health and wellbeing is just as important as good physical health. Like physical health, mental health can range across a spectrum from healthy to unwell; it can fluctuate on a daily basis and change over time.

Below we have some useful links which may support you and your family.

If you need help urgently for your mental health, but it's not an emergency, get help from NHS 111 online or call 111.

Your mental health is as important as your physical health. You will not be wasting anyone's time.

Mrs. Batey is our school's Mental Health Lead. She is dedicated to supporting the emotional well-being of all our children and staff, ensuring they have access to resources and guidance in managing their mental health. Mrs. Batey works closely with staff, pupils, and families to foster a positive and supportive school environment.
