Our Vision and Values
#growingwisebuilders
We began our Journey in 2022. After discussion with the Dioceses, we started to think about refreshing our School Vision and Values in 2021/22. We have now finalised our new vision in consultation with staff, pupils and governors and we are very proud in our aim of #growingwisebuilders.
Rockcliffe CE School Vision
Rockcliffe CE School Vision Our School community is constructed on a base of firm foundations, which provides all children with the scaffolding and tools to develop their strength, creativity and wisdom to weather any storm.
Our Core Christian Values are :
Strength
Thessalonians 5:11
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
Isaiah 41:10
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Creativity
Wisdom
Jeremiah 10:12 12 But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.
In Spring 2, we started our own Quest After School Club. We discussed our new vision and values before children unleashed their creativity! These core values rocks are displayed with pride on our Prayer Table.
Parent/Carer Invitation
On Tuesday 7th March, we invited parents and carers into school to share our new vision and values. Such positivity filled the room and it was lovely to discuss with individuals over refreshments and a rock bun! There is so much support as we continue on our journey.
Quest Club Week 2 (07.03.23)
We looked back at our Core Christian Values- Strength, Creativity and Wisdom before deciding who/what was personally important to us. Who helps to give us Strength? Who helps to develop our Creativity? Who shares their Wisdom with us?
Children made keyrings. Some keyrings have been gifted to friends and family while others chose to keep them and record a personal moral/message.
Quest Club (Week 3) 14.03.23
Quest Club looked at the Christian Story of Easter and made some fabulous Clarice Cliff inspired plates. We were even joined by some new members!
Quest Club (Week 4) 21.03.23
Hands of Prayer. Children wrote their own reflective words for Easter. Some children chose to write a prayer while others chose to complete an Acrostic Poem. They look beautiful on our Easter display and allow others to read them as they pass by.
Quest Club (Week 5) 28.03.23
Have a very Happy Easter!
